The original battery tie down bracket for the Mazda FC RX7 is a welded steel rod with some angle sections. The problem is that most RX7s have lost this original bracket and the original plastic housing for the battery, exposing the ugly battery tie down bracket.
This new battery tie down bracket was specifically designed to match the engine bay components of the RX7, and the battery mount stud pattern, making it look right at home!
The battery bracket accepts batteries up to 6.375”[162mm] in width. This matches the Optima group 35 batteries and other similar sizes. Please measure the top of your battery before you order! The listed dimensions of many manufacturers are often the widest of the battery and not the top mounting section.
